Why Donate

Why give to the Parents Annual Fund?
The Parents Fund is raising dollars for the current students and collegiate life at the University. There is a great need for private funding to support student life programs. Many are faced with the choice of decreasing what they do or looking for funding elsewhere. The Parents Fund is able to narrow the budget gap for many of these groups.
What makes the money from the Parents Fund special is that it is allocated by current parents – your peers who have a vested interest in seeing that the dollars go as far as possible to enrich student life. Your sons and daughters, as well as theirs, are benefitting from their hard work and generosity.
It is not just student activities that parents support. Academic groups have received funding for unique educational experiences, from designing and crafting working models to enter in national competitions to building projects in Third World countries. These projects allow them to take the knowledge they have gained in study and apply it to real-life situations. They are able to bring this knowledge back to Grounds and share it with their peers.
Donating to the Parents Fund is a way to show that you stand behind your son’s or daughter’s decision to attend the University. You are helping maintain the high standard the University has achieved and ensuring it will continue to provide a unique collegiate experience.
